All I know is my snake prefers a cooler hot sides...I keep the warm side air around 84-88 and his hot spot under his hide about 86.. Humidity around 30-40 on the reg,I prefer50. My guy never comes out of his hide,unless he wants water or food ( cause he is always hungry)or to just stretch out. Other words,he comes out maybe 3 times a week for a few hours from what I see atleast.
