    and then i would take the cords out, and keep them, and then just use a correct knot that can be re-opened to close the bags. i have no faith in the mechanism they currently have, when you pull these really tight too much material gets crammed together around the cord and it doesnt properly close. i know that kind of mechanism from sleeping bag storage bags and tent equipment and stuff, it doesnt safely and completely close. so it seems a bit risky, with enough effort a BP could end up getting the head and neck out and get stuck. its safer to pull them all out, secure the ends of the cords, and use the traditional way of closing the bag with a cord.

    its still nice bags and nice cords, and pulling out the cords is easy. nice stuff. im in Europe, so shipping would be too much, but you may consider getting the rest and re-selling the excess cheaply on this forum.
    I didn't use the cords to secure the bags. That's what zip-ties are for. I didn't wash them. I gave them the sniff test and they smelled better than a dirty sock so I just went with it...
