PTFE Adhesive Tape?
So, I've been looking for a safer tape than foil tape for use when mounting heatmats and my friend's dad told me to buy PTFE adhesive tape as it's heat resistant and non-conductive. I'm curious to know if anyone else as ever used it for the purpose of reptile heating and if it has worked out for them.

I haven't used it with flexwatt, but I have used it on the business end of a 3D printer that I built. The extruder assembly on the 3D printer got way hotter than flexwatt ever will (it actually has to melt ABS plastic) So I can say for sure that it will work, and be safe.
PTFE's melting point is over 600 F and is nonconductive
