Building a rack tub size confusion.

I have read tons of post about snake size compared to tube size. Im ready to start building but need to know if 28qt tubes are too large for a baby ball. I figured as long as i put the correct size hides in it plus maybe so crumpled newspaper they would be comfortable. Feel free to correct me if im wrong im new to pythons.
