Ill usually get a awkward face and a "ewwww, you have a snake why would you want that for a pet?"
I usually reply with, "Because I don't have to listen to them talk."

Today someone was talking to me about having snakes and what their diet consisted of.
I sarcastically replied, "Mostly fruits and veggies to make them grow big and strong." Best part is they usually buy it ( thought it was common sense that snakes ate rodents)
