Hey!
I think it is very difficult to comprehend emotion through text. If someone really feels the need to empathize or put emotion in their writings, the best way simply is to use emoticons, and capital or lower case letters. As far as people being sarcastic, I personally think it should be left out. Its fun to joke and mess around, but is very difficult to portray through text.
I think it would be best to just stick with emoticonsA special text is slightly ridiculous haha
