I read it as he had success to the normal hypo, but hasn't tired any other lines, which would be a waste of time imo, since you already know what it is compatible with.

The "single-gene" Seven Dollar Ghost looks like a hypo fire???? Is it just me?

Looks like a very blushed but average hypo to me.
