    Blood thirsty.

My four year old girl has always been my sweet heart, she had never tried to bite me EVER. The nicest snake you'll ever meet is what i would tell everyone. Until Monday, she wouldn't eat for about a month. I kept trying trying she would not give. It is getting to be winter up here in upstate new york. She is in a 40 gallon breeder temps at 90 hot, 80ish cool, shes around 4 feet long. As I am thawing out a rat for her, I opened her tank and she climbed out, as I went to grab her she struck at my hand. She grabbed the rat and I obviously knew why she struck at me. But today, only four days later i go past her tank and she is frantic as i pass by. I knelt down and shes following my hand, she then proceeded to strike at me three times! I did not smell like a rat! I even washed my hands just in case there was some left over smell in the room, I just now gave her another rat to eat. But I am horrified that now she is going to associate my hand with food and be constantly aggressive...
    Someone help!!
