Edit: After speaking to the breeder further they actually use Wells Fargo Merchant Services, so I feel better about it now especially with the promise of an email with the detailed transaction info. I confirmed with my bank that they will back me up if things go awry. They also gave me the option of using Paypal, which I don't think they openly advertise due to the fees. So I'm going to give the phone thing a go. I'll be on a 30 day payment plan with them, but will report back the results so hopefully they can gain some more positive word of mouth!
