    Frozen Feeder Question

Hey. I bought a young ball python recently (about a month).

Currently my ball python eats fuzzie mice (that's what the breeder fed her and told me to switch her to rats asap which I am trying to do). So once I get her switched to rats will it be worth it to buy rats online? I'm afraid that my ball python will need a larger size rat before she finishes the initial bag I buy her or that the rats will be sitting around in the freezer for too long (especially if they have no hair).

So I guess my question really is, is it worth it to buy feeder rats online for just one snake?

This is her eating a fuzzie mouse, what do you think would be a good size rat for her to eat? The breeder told me to try rat pinkies while other places I've posted have ranged from rat pinkies to rat pups. Any advice would be great!

She is probably large enough for adult mice, or rat fuzzies. Depending on where you buy your rodents from, you should be able to order in a quantity small enough for your needs. Once she gets larger and is on small or medium rats, those are a better size for long term (even my big adult females rarely get rats larger than mediums each week) and buying those in larger quantities shouldn't be an issue.
