I just had the best handling session with my bp Ozzy.
A few of you know it has been a long process to get Ozzy to trust and be handle not that he ever strike or hissed he just would ball up or be on the "run".
But tonight when I got home from the hockey game I took him out and sat down at the computer and put some tunes on and just held him and before long he was weaving thru my hands and he has a strange liking to want to get right up in your face and stare at ya.
It was the best time so far with my little guy and I just wanted to share because it has seem like a long road but I think we have turned the corner ( Yeah)
These guys are just so dang cute and just steal your heart away

Anyway thanks for letting me share and thanks to this forum and all you great people.

That is really awesome! Congrats!! It is a great feeling when you see that your snake is starting to gain some trust in you. I can't wait until the day that I know Hissy feels completely comfy with me. She is the best & yeah, they steal your heart in no time at all!! Again, congrats, may the success continue!
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?

I think that's great that he's relaxing more with you now. I hope it only gets better.

I have no idea why but my hunch is that our faces either smell (breath, food residue etc.) or that our head contains a lot of heat (eyes, breath etc.) that's my unproven theory- but I bet anything a few people in these forums know exactly why!
