Dominant boa morphs
Hey guys I was wondering what dominant boa morphs there are .
I'm going to the expo and am going to pick up a male, but I want a dominant gened one. (Something that would make visual babies if I ever deside to breed)
I'm not saying I am. I'm just thinking ahead ad want a dominant morph,
What are some? I've heard motley and jungle so far.
Thanks guys!

I don't have many boas however I do have a few, one of them is a Motley boa which is a codominant mutation. The heterozygous snakes have a striped look and the homozygous are almost a solid color. Also hypomelanistic is dominant I believe with the heterozygous and the homozygous looking pretty much the same.

Re: Dominant boa morphs
I ended up picking up a nice looking het coral albino male.
He will be my new little man (: breeding isn't a big rush for me, I picked what I felt was right, not what I thought would get me money, so I brought home Whiskey (:
He is a little skittish but he will fit on to the family (:

Here are the ones I can remember right off the top of my head:
Jungle
Motley
Arabesque
Hypomelanism
Nova
Aztec
Key West
Marron
Raptor
There are more and some of what I listed are actually co-dominant. Also, some of these you won't find at your local reptile expo and are quite expensive. Here is a genetics calculator - should help you determine what is dominant and what isn't and what you can produce in breeding trials.
