    It is possible to quarantine in the same room. As Crystal said, keep them as far away from each other as possible, use separate equipment, make sure you do the new snake last.

    Honestly, even quarantining in a separate room isn't perfect quarantine and really no different than keeping them on opposite sides of the room. When you quarantine in the same house (unless you have a specially designed room) they are still sharing the same air so it doesn't really matter if they are 2 rooms down or 10ft across the room. Air born illnesses can and will still spread.

    Just make sure you are careful and don't forget the new snake is in quarantine. For me having them in a different room just serves as a reminder that I need to do them last and make sure I am extra careful about contaminating my existing animals.
