Thanks so much for the luck my little guy has successfully made the switch today and took his first f/t meal with me today I have no idea how the breeder that sold him to me fed him live his aim is terrible! He bite the f/t hopper mouse right in the middle of his body. If it was a live mouse it definitely would've ended up with a possible bite that I'd have to prevent. Glad I got him on f/t though so ill never have to worry about it thanks for the luck and encouragement!
On a similar note he also took his first rat today without any issues. I have yet to experience the picky / shyness of this ball python. He eats anything I throw at him!

LOL consider yourself lucky! I have a few boas because they clean up everything the BP's don't eat that day.

My boy, eats his mice from the ass or the head or the mouse can be upside down,he eats in all wild ways, but strikes immediately,no hesitation either. Downs it in minutes. When he strikes he always grabs the FT towards the bottom/mid stomach to ass.
I hope I can switch mine over soon, I'm going to try this next feeding because I'd rather he not eat live, my family hates the noise the rats make. And it's cheaper to buy frozen in my area.
