    Happening too quickly?

Hello everyone! So, Im breeding my pythons for the first time, and they have been locking at least once a week for the past two months. This week, ive noticed my female is swelling up and gaining some weight particularly in the lower end. I came in to check on her this morning, and her eyes are blue, and she is prepping to shed. Is there a chance of her laying already after this? I know for a fact that she has not been paired with any snake ever before.

Probably not a pre-lay shed, but possibly a pre-ovy shed. Is she still eating, is she hanging out on the warm end or cool end?

She lays on the cool end, wrapped around her water bowl. She has been doing this since about a week before i started breeding them. She ate extremely aggressively a week ago, but two nights ago wouldnt even look at the rat.

    Have you noticed her glowing?
If not then it's possibly her preov shed and she will glow afterward she sheds.
If she doesn't glow after her shed then you've probably got another shed cycle to go through before preov shed happens.

Ok cool. Thanks for the help. She does seem quite bright after shedding.
