getting a cb blue tounged skink
hey guys,
my bro wants a BTS, not his first lizard so he's got experience. Been doing some research and found it's really hard to find them captive bred. anyone know of breeders in the state of Maryland? if they're not Maryland that's ok, but I'd prefer if they were. love to hear your knowledge of places that definitely only carry cb bts's, and to be sure I'd like to know how you know it's not a scam. thanks a lot everyone.

Try to look for them on kingsnake and the people that have them ask if they're CB and if not ask them why. They may be able to give you some insight on why you can't find them on CB. Some stuff just isn't easy to breed in captivity though i have no idea if BTS is one of them.

Go for a Northern Blue Tongued Skink. Being from Australia, they're all captive bred. Here's my pickup from the Anaheim NARBC!

Here's a snapshot of my other Northern BTS that I have had for over 11 years already, snacking on some apples.

If luck's on my side, maybe they'll be a pair someday!

X2 go for a northern! I have a nbts from a local (florida) breeder and he is awesome! Bluies are a ton of fun and I love their little personalities

Finding breeders locally might not be easy however here are two breeders I would recommend.
www.deerfernfarms.com
www.captivebred.com

I got my Irian Jaya from Zach (www.bluetongueskinks.net) and I was thrilled! He breeds Northerns as well. I recommend him to everyone who shows interest in BTS's.
