What would you do?
I pretty much am leaning one way already BUT thought I'd ask my fellow Bp enthusiasts what you would do in my position.
I've been thinking about going for the Lightning Pied for a awhile now, this season would be when I start it off. But I've decided that I want to pursue the Panda and this has changed my thinking a bit. The double recessive would be lots of work and extra animals, instead I might go for some champ Het VPI axanthic's this season. Co dom recessive combos are soooo much easier to deal with.
What do you think of Champ Axanthics?
Am I crazy?

Five years will pass regardless of you starting the project or not. If you wait you will regret it depending on how badly you want to hit the double recessive.

Re: What would you do?
Imo, it would be a long project. But what about the reward? Id think the reward of hatching out that double recessive would be worth the wait? We're gonna try for an albino pied, but all we have is an albino n a pied lol..so itll be a long haul. I guess it depends on how much passion you have for the project. And axanthic champs? Killer

Here is what I did with my double recessive albino pied project.
Produced some DH Females last season and picking a male albino het pied next season. Still long term but nice short cut that increase my odds too.
I say Double recessive

I like the lightning pied idea too, it's always good to have some long term projects in the works while waiting for the shorter term stuff to bear fruit.
