You know you're good friends when...
You don't injure you're buddy for being up at 3:45am to prep for his ironman, AND you walk two miles at 5am to help him set up at transition! I'm soooo going back to the hotel once I send him off at 7:30!

Lol, I didn't think about that. My friend finished 1.2 miles of swimming, 58 miles of biking, and 13.1 miles of running in 4 hours and 49 minutes - insane!!!! All I did was help out, walk around, and cheer, and I'm exhausted!

Pass on a high five from me, that is an awesome time for a half iron! Did he win a slot for Nevada with that time? (I don't know what his age group is since you tactfully left it out  )

I have to admit, I was.
The seriousness and loyalty of this thread, though, is a very nice change from my normally joking demeanor. Your friend is lucky to know you, because such loyalty isn't all that easy to find outside of a canine companion.
