I feed in a feeding tub. Has been for 5 years without problems. I feed live rat and I have one of those "designer enclosures" with plants and logs and rocks... Check out my avatar... One of the hides is a Snak Shack for rats! Anyway, because I feed live rat, I monitor each and every feeding and if I feed in the enclosure, the rat can hide under a rock/log/plant and even chew logs/shak/plants and poop and pee in the enclosure and it will take the snake all day to get to him. I can't sit there waiting all day... so off to the feeding tub they go.
