Upload the pic to tinypic.com, then use the link provided with image tags.

Try warm water and a soft wet wash cloth. Rub gently after you wet it until the adhesive breaks up.

Found this on you tube - not a glue board but worth a shot.

Cooking oil works to remove adhesives....you need some kind of organic solvent that isn't harsh on animals...rubbing alcohol would work but would chill them down too much I think...

Try using peanut butter or vegetable oil.

Glad to help...I saw that on an old reality show where the kid's snake got stuck to a glueboard for rats, and also saw it used on a canary at the petshop in town.

Hope your guy is OK...I'd try for a digital thermometer/hygrometer combo in the future. They don't have adhesive

doesnt the oil essentially force a shed at that location?

just for clarification, i think it works like that: the oil causes the top layer to come loose, and then its basically like a partial shed in the area where the glue is stuck, where the oil is applied. is that correct?

because the video says the oil breaks down the glue.

The oil gets in between the glue and scales and loosens it. If done correctly, no scales should come off.
