Can they or will they go down stairs?
I'm not new to this. I had the first escape today since I switched to racks. My full grown male het Russo is loose. Either he worked the drawer open or I left it. How likely is it that he went down an 18 foot carpeted staircase. Looked all over including under fridge (downstairs). Cant find him anywhere. Looked near everything that is warm, no Felix. Wife isn't happy.
Thanks

They can go up and down the stairs without any problem and faster then you think too.

You are going to have to look in the most unimaginable places in your home. Not too long ago one of my BP's got out late at night and actually got into the walls of our oven. It literally took my 2 hours to dismantle the oven to get him out of it. Then it took even longer to put it back together . Also, they won't always go and find a warm spot to hide in. Try looking in a pile of clothes, behind, under, and in the couch, TV entertainment center, behind the TV, clothes drawers, chandelier, ALL of the cabinets in your kitchen.

I've seen this first hand, not with me but with a friend and this is definitely true. Especially if something spooks them.
