I'm into anything unordinary/rare that people don't like so, I think stuff like this is cool. If this doesn't have health problems with the heat pits and thrives like his corn snakes I'm all in for it. I just don't want to hold a snakes hand for it's whole life.
I was going to get a silk back bearded dragon till I found out how much more work they are a day for 100% care. Baths every single day, special heat, lotion rubbed on it and more....Yeah no thanks that's like taking care of a 3rd kid for me.

I'm interested about the scaleless heads. Why have I never heard of these? Was it a single snake he proved out and bred it back? They look like a normal with stuck shed on their heads. Lol

I definitely find hairless mammals really creepy, but in a fascinating way... I've kept pet hairless rats and always wanted a hairless guinea pigs. 'Naked' snakes have the same affect. The scaleless lucy texas rats look like wrinkly worms to me.
I'm loving how the scaleless BP looks like someone just drew pattern on with a sharpie though.

Fair enough, and I don't mean to imply there's anying "wrong" with hairless rats and cats (not implying anyone took it that way either, just wanted to clarify) they just don't do it for me.

Well said. It just doesn't do it for me either. But I'm not gonna put others down for finding this appealing. I find the Candino/Toffino complex to be absolutely gorgeous, yet a lot of others don't like them at all. "To each his own"
Now on the other hand, it's really sad to look at the comments on the world premiere post on BHB's FB page. There are hundreds of post saying horrible things about Brian. Telling him he's "gone too far" "stop playing God" and he's a "f#&@king sick worthless human". its very sad that people don't understand the scientific significance, importance, and accomplishment with this.
If this morph moves forward, I think it should appropriately be named "The Controversial" lol.

Those are called haters.... If this BP gene shows a weakness or leathality. I bet my collection Brian wouldn't continue the project if he found serious health issues, regardless of how cool it is.

I agree 1000%. If there is something wrong with this project (defects, short lived, struggling day to day, lethal) he is enough of a stand up guy that he would make the judgement call of not moving forward with this gene.
