    Had a scare!

So I came home and my ball python was sort of in a weird position i never seen him in before. He was under his warm hide with about half of his body sticking out and his neck/head was kind of curled up and on his head was kind of lying on its side. He looked pretty lifeless and than i opened up the tub and he started moving and i went Whew! Hes young had him about 2 months now and weighs 165 grams when I got him he weights 65 grams. His husbandry is all perfect and he eats like a champ a f/t rat pup every 5 days. Is this normal? do they sometimes lay in awkward positions? I was going to take a picture but it was to late he started moving.

    Yes,
As they thermoregulate, sometimes you will find them on their side to almost inverted. The first time it's a little unnerving but it's just BP behavior. Enjoy
