Should I feed inside the habitat?

Hi everyone! I am new and have a noob question... This will be MY first time feeding my Spider BP and I was wondering if I should remove him from his cage and put him in a plastic tub to feed on the rat I give him or just put the rat in his cage and let him hunt it down? Thanks in advance!

long story short, yes. Leave him in the enclosure when you feed, there are more pros than cons.

I think there is more enrichment value to allowing them to hunt i their enclosure as well; makes it more like what they would get in the wild.

Re: Should I feed inside the habitat?

This has been debated since forever, almost as bad as the .45acp vs. 9mm.

I only feed in the habitat. There are plenty of pros and cons but in the end it comes down to one thing...If the big professional breeders feed in their natural enclosure and if it works for them, then it good enough for me.

I leave mine in the tub/rack they they live in. I don't see any cage aggression from it.

I feed in the enclosure as well. I have fed in separate containers before and moving the snake around is more likely to stress it and cause them not to eat.
