The Central American, Nicaraguan, Mexican dwarf (Tarahumaras, Sonorans, etc), Crawl and Caulker Cay, and Hog Island localities should stay on the smaller side over the Colombian, BCC, and BCO boas. There are always smaller and larger exceptions, but most of these shouldn't top out over 7' and most can be housed in large tubs/at least a 4' cage.

I can't say how big those and the Brazilians get as I don't have experience with them but they both sure are pretty! I'd search around and see what catches your eye: Legacy Reptiles has some good guides to the localities I listed (under the Collection tab) and Rio Bravo has a great website for all things boa but I believe it's down at this time. Here's Legacy's website: http://www.legacyreptiles.com/home.htm

How about temperment which ones are more likely to be more aggresive? I dont mind being bit but my nephew likes to handle and touch my snakes hes 4 and i would hate for him to get bit and become scared of snakes

It varies greatly on the snake: if you want one that's more docile I'd talk to the seller and see what the temperament is on a particular snake you're looking at. I read that CAs/Nics can be testy as babies but on that note I hear that Hogs are one of the most docile boas and my girl can be kind of a brat. Most boas will calm down in time when they get some size on them.
Also for consideration is a Colombian BCI male: these should also stay in your range but I would recommend a 4' cage at least for these guys as they typically get larger than the other locales I listed. Most Colombians are very well-natured though and Colombians come in lots of cool morphs too. I adore my male and three females.

Re: any smaller boas
I have three Brazilian Rainbow Boas, the two adults are both six feet long and are very slender. They're fine in a 40-breeder size enclosure and have the most awesome personalities, though hatchlings are known to be nippy. My BCI is just a bit longer than the BRB's are and she's also thicker and heavier, she's going to be a monster when she reaches her full size.

Dumeril Boas don't get very big and are very calm. The cage size for them are 4' x 2' and they usually get between 5'-6' and weight about 10-15 pounds. They are short and stocky lol.
