Absolutely nothing useful in that post. Nothing like twisting the knife when someone already feels bad for the incident. As far as the blood goes a pic will help a lot. Just continue to check on it for the next couple of days and avoid handling it for some time. Hopefully all goes well for you.

How's there nothing useful in that post? It's as useful as yours, so... Baby snakes CAN be traumatized from such events. The OP should know that. As well as it could've caused physical damage (probably should say that, though, right?) Mistakes happen and I wasn't blaming anyone. I was just saying that putting any sized snakes on your shoulders/neck generally isn't a great idea for several reasons.

Oh well. He needs to give her some space. I don't blame him for making that mistake, I'm sure a million snake owners have done it, as will a million more, but I know that snakes can be traumatized after being dropped + the owner constantly going into their cage to check on them. That's why I suggest a week of alone time (still do maintenance, like changing water, feeding, etc).

I think that all they were saying is that you could of worded your post differently so that if the OP read it they don't feel worse than what they already do for the whole situation.

If I remember correctly you've been in a kind of similar situation not with dropping a BP but having some people turn against you. Just try to be mindful with the way you word things is all that people are saying.

Thanks, Neal. If that was worded odd/rudely, I'm sorry. It wasn't meant to be
