Delicious Food Appreciation Thread

I love food. I photograph all my favorite dishes, but I don't usually share them on anything like fb because I don't want to be one of "those people", lol

But here are a few I've had recently.

One of my personal favorites, this is hugely popular in New Mexico. Sloppy Papas are hash browns, bacon, sausage, cheese, cream gravy, and eggs any way (I like over easy) served with New Mexico flour tortillas.


And I adore vietnamese pork and shrimp spring rolls.

We also have this awesome Tea Room which does two hour, three course teas. This was the "prelude" last month. Lavender Sugared Grapes and Lavender tea. The grapes are chilled, rolled in lavender flavored sugar, and served on a sprig of lavender. They were heavenly. I grow my own grapes and lavender, and have to try this myself.


And while I don't like cooking, I like helping other people cook. I made pasta for my mom, and she made a delicious Carbonara. It's seriously one of the best pasta dishes I have had in my life.



And I helped my aunt make this delicious salad. Kumato Tomatoes (they are brown!), basil, olives, crumbled goat cheese, balsamic glaze, olive oil, and toasted pine nuts.



Sorry for so many weird foods. I'm not much of a burger person (but some of those above look pretty awesome).
