    Sad Day

I had to sell my big female boa today. I couldn't bring her with me to my new place. It was surprisingly difficult to hand her over tonight. I think part of it was the fact that it was the only snake that me and my ex-wife bought together. Was a bit of a closure moment. Feeling kinda blue guys. LOL

Anybody else get kinda emotional when they give up a snake that has been in their collection for a while?

I had to get rid of my cat when I was only 6 or so.....I really loved her, and it was sad to see her go. It's especially sad to think that she was probably still living until recently too

Aww, I'm sorry, that sounds hard. I'm sure you chose a good home for her.

I did she went to a breeder so I am happy about that. He really knew his stuff, and I have no doubt she'll be well cared for.

    Thanks

Man that sucks and I know what you are feeling like. I had to give up my iguana years ago because I went into the military. It was a sad day. But at least the guy that took her dedicated an entire bedroom just for her so I knew she was going to a great home!

And sorry for having to give up your boa.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately as a renter you're at the mercy of the landlord's policies. When I had a rental I was very permissive on pets and never had a problem - my best tenants where the pet owners. One said it was because they had limited options if they wanted to move, so they made more of an effort to not get evicted. At least you know she went to a great home.
