It is a vast subject with different answers, the information is out there for those who are seeking it, I think that if you are really passionate about what you do searching and gathering information on your own will be much more rewarding as a future breeder than it would be if you were being spoon fed.

Once you go through the information you gather if you have specific question I have no doubt people will answer your question.

Now here are some thoughts, breeding requires time, commitment, money and above all PASSION

I think the only reason people like them is for their morphs/$$$. There are too many of them out there, thus a bunch of people having a bunch of low end morphs laying around, or a bunch of noobs with Ball Python(s), mistreating them, and caring for them incorrectly. Perhaps if I found something besides Pastel's and Normal's all over the place, I wouldn't mind Ball Pythons so much. And I don't even want to start about how they're finicky eaters... We'll be here all night... They never come out, never interact, etc.. Just hide and eat, and hide and eat.
If there wasn't so many flooding expos, and being neglected, I'd love 'em. Couldn't understand how anyone could breed them (unless they're breeding high end morphs).
This does not show passion to me and I would not advise someone feeling this way to breed Ball Pythons.

So why would you want to know how to breed ball pythons if you do not like them? By your very own words you can not understand how anyone could breed them so with that why would you even care to know how to?
    Knowledge is earned not learned.

This. Because chances are, you're going to lose money at some point breeding, it's just inevitable. But if you are truly passionate for the animals you won't be upset losing money because your passion outweighs your greed.

Who said that? O.o I don't want to breed them. I don't want to breed any snakes (atm) I don't like the risks, and the complications that can kill your snakes, born the babies dying. If I do breed, I'd probably start with corns, and then BCI's, BCC's, Etc.

Not true. How/Why else would a person breed? You think BHB looses half their money, but continues to breed over 30,000 reptiles? I think not.

Why would you ask people to waste a ton of time writing up something you have no interest in doing? You have said you don't like you're ball, so why waste peoples time and energy? If you're curious, use the search function and do some research.
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

Because they love the hobby and are passionate about the animals?

Huge breeders are the exception, not the rule.

Can you make money breeding reptiles? Sure. Assuming you have 150k+ initial investment, and plan on being in the red for many years.

That's the entire point of that saying. You need money to make money.
