Regardless if a snake has mites or not, always treat new additions in QT. It's a good preventative measure.

Just PAM the tub, let it air dry for 30 mins to an hour, and set it up with a minimalistic set up of a water bowl and paper towel substrate. Return the snake into the tub. And repeat the treatment 3 weeks later.

If you do see mites on your snake, you can also bathe it in warm water with a few drops of dish soap.
