Your story and more like it don't get to the non - reptile world enough.
Taking on animals that are not "perfect" but still need cared for shows the person you are.

I agree with the post above. Nice to see keepers going the extra mile to take care of animals with special needs.

I don't know if you name your animals but if you do, you might consider "Weeble". You might be too young to remember the toys called Weebles. If so, here's a link to a vintage commercial.
