    Question Feeding Baby BP Help.

Hello everyone i have just recently bought a Baby Ball Python he is about 3 months old i got him on Saturday and i was wondering when i should feed him i didn't feed him yet cus the store said not to for a week but i have been reading and people are saying they are feeding there babies every 3-4 days.

What should i do? Should i wait until Next Saturday to feed him or is it okay if i feed him tomorrow or today.
Also are there certain times i should feed him, i'm new to owning a Ball Python so i'm not sure its my first snake, and i just want the best for him and i don't know if it is bad if i feed him tomorrow or if i should wait.

    -Thanks

Waiting a week for them to get settled is a pretty standard procedure. How long have you had him? If you think he might feed a little sooner than it might be worth trying but don't push him. I'd probably still wait about 5 days from the day you got him and then after that feed once every week on a properly sized rats. Some people feed more often, and since he's young it might be worth feeding him more. Someone with more experience with younger snakes will chime in I'm sure. But a week isn't too much for a healthy BP young or otherwise.

I got him this Saturday so i have had him for 3 days so far and he seems like he is doing good but i was worried cus he isnt that big or heavy yet, well idk how much a 3 month old BP is supposed to weigh but i was gonna feed him tomorrow so that would be 4 days after i got him i would feed him do you think that's fine or should i wait longer, i just dont want to over feed him.

He's beautiful. I would just wait out the week. Even the young ones are more than capable of going much longer than that without a feeding. Let him settle in and then worry about feeding him. He will be alright until then. Don't worry yourself He sure isn't worried.

Just keep up the handling and he will adjust. I just got a new guy too and he swiped at me when I opened the top to change his water. It is just going to take some patience.
