And with him gone it feels like a piece of my soul has gone with him and I would trade the lives of a million people just to spend on more day with him. I own reptiles as well and love them to death and they all got along very well with Hossy when he was alive. If I were living in an area where there were snakes large enough to kill my dog I'd never let my dog out of my site. Not saying its there fault at all. Even if they were there it might've still ended up badly but you never know.

I've had to deal with cats and a couple dogs that were family pets passing, so I know what it feels like. RIP Golden Retriever mix.


Back on the subject of the rock python, I agree that is only going to be food for the fire. People hear of one snake doing this and think that all can and will, even those like a three foot ball python that decided it doesn't want to eat for 3 months. /sigh
