    Petey has never done this for me, but Wafer has when he was younger and around 3-4 feet. Wafer is an albino black rat snake. For them I equate it to "running in place' while giving me a neck massage.

    Mine has done this as well and it's awesome!! My BP's have done that massaging thing around my neck, arms, and wrists. I didn't know what to think at first, but I slowly realized that it was also a way for them to feel more secure while hanging on you. Also, I think they do that so they feel more comfortable moving around you, and yes, I'm sure they do it for themselves to, those greedy little buggers!
