    You may want to increase the humidity.

    One of my redtail's would "yawn" from time to time. He would rest about 1/3 of his body against the corner of the tank and open mouth breathe. My worry was that it was signalment of a respiratory problem.
    It turned out that the humidity was too low and once I increased it, the "yawning" stopped.
