Help with tracking my snakes progress...

Hey guys,

I've been using a Dayplanner (a different book for each snake) to record the weights, shed cycles, feeding schedules, etc and other important info for my BP's. It is getting a bit tedious and difficult to analyze.
I'm getting 3 more snakes this week and I was wondering if there is a program or reptile spread sheet template that will help me to see the overall progress of each animal at a glance. The thought of having to refer to multiple journals seems like a PIA.

Just make an account and add your snakes to the database. You can then track pretty much everything you do with your snakes.

If you have Microsoft Excel maybe make your own spreadsheets.

I just use text documents on my computer for each snake.

If you have an I phone or a tablet of some sort.. I'm not sure if its on android systems it should be but what I use is an app called snake keeper it's only a dollar but it keeps all sorts of info from sheds to weight and length. Check it out its a simple app to work with also. Hope this helps.

I simply make my own excel spreadsheets for each snake. I like to have hard copies, so I have a binder and each snake has a section with all of their records in it. My spreadsheets are customized to fit all the info I like to keep track of - weight, feeding details, fecal, urates, blue/shed, and notes where I just write any special details from that day. I tried using iherp and I have tub tags with QR codes for each snake, but it just doesn't work for me. I like writing out all my info and being able to easily flip back and forth. With so many snakes, writing things by hand forces me to pay more attention to their feeding and weight patterns as well.

I use iHerp as well, and love it so far! Although the idea of creating spreadsheets as Zuma22 said, sounds pretty awesome too. I may have to go play with Excel a bit tonight

They also have a program Herper Pro I believe where you can do that as well, with very detailed information. The only thing that I don't like is that it has a lot of options that I won't use and it makes it a bit more annoying to navigate, but if you're going to use all the options then it's a great program.

I only have one snake, but I use One Note for keeping her records on my phone. I keep her feed log on one document, and then her weight/length/shed/poop logs on another and it'll sync to just about anywhere.

You create QR codes on excel with this the data of each snake, right?
