How big was the rodent that you fed him?
You said it was fresh killed and not a frozen/thawed correct?
Do you know what the cage temperatures were at the time? If so:
1. What were you using to heat the cage at the time.
2. What did you measure the temperatures with?
3. Where were the measurements taken?
4. What was the temperature of the room that the cage was in? (approximately)
