    Whoever came up with the naming of that method, had his head up his a$$. It should be called "Non-Contact Substrate Method". Substrate less means without substrate!

    The thought I had: It can be like ghosts and true ghosts, subtrateless and true substrateless.

    Guess I use a true substrateless method.

    Truly substrateless would mean you just put the eggs directly on the tub floor right

    Substrateless makes sense to me. You don't have to put substrate in, but it's a good way to keep the water from splashing the eggs.

    If it gets really drippy in there I'll usually cover the eggs with a sheet of newspaper or paper towel and change it out if it really gets soaked.
