Starters, it's not sex linked. Otherwise it would easily explainable, Linked to the Z-chromosome or W-Chromosome. What we are seeing is a phenomenon without a name I know of. Using his numbers, assume banana x normal pairing.
Female bananas make normal sex ratios, 25% male banana, 25% female banana, 25% male normal, 25% normal female.
Male banana whos banana parent was the mother: 5% male banana, 45% female banana, 45% male normal, 5% female normal
Male bananas whos banana parent was the father: 45% male banana, 5% female, 5% male normal, 45% female normal
Once supers start breeding might even get more interesting.
