    Undersized BP, feeding schedule

I got my first BP a couple of weeks ago from some guy on Kijiji (like CL for those who don't use it). She's a normal (presumably a she, and although I've tried popping, I'm far to scared to hurt her). Anyway, the guy told me she was about a year old. He got her from a pet store in November of last year. When I got her 2 and a half weeks ago, I fed her on her second day here, and only weighed her the day after and she was 170g, which is really low for her age. I have fed 3 times (roughly 30-35g prey), and weighed her today and she's already 208g. When I got her, husbandry was a bit amiss, but I've gotten things worked out in the mean time, and she's gone from a sedentary sleepy snake, to a lively and curious snake. I have been feeding f/t once a week (first week was a mouse, like she'd been on, but by week 2 she went from mice to rats without issue). this past week I put the rat in a dish on the top of the enclosure to thaw to scent the room, as I've done the past 2 weeks, and when I had warmed it and was ready to feed I couldn't find her in any of her 3 hides, I was freaking out, but then realized she had climbed up into the hanging plants to get up near the top where the rat was! I was able to coax her down (I've already learned that it's better to let a BP detangle themselves than try to force them yourself), and she again happily took the rat. Anyway I'm rambling, but I guess I was just trying to point out how strong her feeding instinct seems to be, and I noticed her out and about acting "hunty" the past 2 nights. I was thinking about offering again tomorrow night, which would be day 5. Is this a bad idea, should I stick to 7 days, or should I go ahead and try given her low-for-age weight?

Ok, thanks, I think I will try again tomorrow. If she doesn't take the rat and I left it out for 3 hours to thaw at room temp, and heat with a hair dryer, is it pretty much garbage?
