Well, it's not me, and I doubt it's Meph...if it IS one of the people who were interested in Cobra, They should know that this is EXTREMELY against the rules, and I for one am not happy with them.
Burrito, in my personal experience, parents cannot be convinced if they are afraid of something. However, if they are just concerned about the care aspect, or are unsure about what snakes are all about, I'd just present them with the data you've been putting together. Be calm and reasonable, and they usually will be in return. I had to wait for almost a year before I got my parents to let me get a snake, and in the end my pleading didn't affect them that much. It was the well put together research that I had that did the job.
