I would also get some f/t rats to make sure your BP takes the rats so that way you're not stuck without food. Especially if you don't know whether or not your BP has eaten rats before, because of the smell it can be a challenging switch.

It's worth a shot, but you can just try a f/t rat by itself first. That's what I would do. Some can be picky and then some do the switch fine, it's all personality.

Yes, I think that works. I have never done it myself, but I've heard other people doing that. Scent the f/t rat with the mouse, and if the snake eats it, try not scenting it the next time.
Awesome. I shall try the rat first by itself then if that's a no-go I'll try scenting the rat with a mouse. Then next feed I'll try unscented again, etc. Lol. Thank you! This helped a lot. I just want the best for my BP.
