    Re: gaigeae breeders?

    Are you referring to:
    a. Big Bend Slider (trachemys gaigeae)
    b. Black Milksnake (lampropeltis triangulum gaigeae)
    c. Skyros Wall Lizard (podarcis gaigeae)
    d. Fort Rudolph Robber Frog (pristimantis gaigei)
    e. Paratelmatobius gaigeae (A frog I do not know the common name of)
    ?

We must be more specific especially when referring to less common animals. Partial scientific names only confuse people.

While I agree with you, in this particular case, I think we can safely assume that the op is referring to the black milksnake L.t. gaigeae.

I do not know of any breeders, however I do see them come up on fauna and kingsnake pretty frequently. $230.00 seems a bit excessive unless it is for an adult. Standard pricing seems to be 100.00-175.00. In the fall of 2011 I paid 125.00 for a hatchling male that was priced 150.00 at an expo.

Good luck, they're one of my favorite milks.

You are 100% correct. I had just gotten up and failed to notice which sub-forum this was posted under.
Knowing what exactly you are looking for makes it much easier.

This is a 2 1/2 year old thread but hopefully it can still provide some leads.

I am almost positive another BP.net user has posted some pics of his his milksnakes and one of his specimens was a black milk snake documenting the colour change as it aged.
