HELP! White Furry Mould on Booby Egg!!!

    Hi All,

I went to check on the Eggs just now and found that the Booby Egg has a White Furry Mould Growth on it, I'm starting to panic, What could have caused this? Is there anything I need to do and if so what? Will this affect the other Eggs??

Your Help will be most gratefully appreciated,

    Warmest Wishes,

    John

Go to a pharmacy and get anti-fungal foot powder(sold for athletes foot) and put the powder on the and all around the mold. Should kill the mold and stop any further growth. Egg should be fine.

Wipe it off and apply some elmer glue where the mold was as well as some little passed it.

Healthy eggs can be connected to moldy eggs with no issue for the healthy egg, however you do want to stop the mold from spreading on that problem egg.

Many Thanks to you All for the Great Advice!! Can anyone tell me what Elmer Glue is? I'm in England and its not something I've heard of before (you probably call it something different to us!)

    Warmest Wishes,

    John

Elmer's Glue is just the white "school" glue we all used growing up. "Elmers" is just the brand name.

It's a glue used in schools, it is non toxic if ingested, there must be an equivalent in the UK I am sure.
