What time of day/night do your ball pythons usually pip?

I'm going crazy here on day 55 with my first clutch of Balls! What is unfortunate is that I leave Friday morning for a family visit and won't return until Sunday! Grrrrr. Things always happen like that!

I was just curious as to what time of day or night your babies start to pip? I'm checking the incubator every 5 seconds hoping I get some pips before I go away. Do they mostly start to pip at night?

Seriously no idea I just don't stare I my eggs, I put them in the incubator and forget about them until the date gets closer, at which time I check every other day and more often then not I cut anyway unless they bit me to it.

Even if they pip they will be fine in the incubator for 2 days, even if they were to pip now they might not get out of the eggs before another 2 to 5 days anyway.

What temp are you incubating at?

They will be able to hand everything on their own until you get back.

They were incubated in my "homemade" incubator and were between 87.5 - 88.5 the entire time.

    I'll hop on this bandwagon.

I just look it at various times once the day draws near. Eventually there's a whole with a head sticking out.

It can happen any time day or night. I usually cut my eggs when the first one goes, but as far as raising their heads out of the egg I've done a timeline on all the clutches I've hatched (albeit only 3 so far) and there has been no pattern; they just do it when they're ready. In my clutch of 5 that I just hatched this past weekend, I had 1 go during the night (18th), one around noon (18th), 2 around 7 pm (18th), and finally the last one went the next day (19th) during the morning. And they didn't leave their eggs in the order that they pipped either. They started coming out on the 19th and the last of them was out on the 20th.

    You have another 5-7 days.
