Is my ball python about to shed?

I just got my first baby ball python a little under a month ago, and she has yet to shed. A few days ago she got "eye caps" and her skin has dulled. Aside from this, the skin around her neck is slightly baggy... Is this something I should be worried about? I've been giving her a short bath for the past few days, and she has a fairly large, constantly filled water bowl, so I don't think it's dehydration. She has also been eating regularly. Are these the signs she's about to shed?

Yes mate, she is about to shed, nothing to worry about. When they are about to shed their belly gets kind of pink, and their eyes get cloudy, thats how you know your snake is about to shed.

Keep the humidity up in her enclosure. In a day or two, you should see a nice little ball of sloughed skin.

You can add a nice clump of damp moss to one of her hides, or just plain keep up on the misting for a few days. With a spike in humidity, in a few days to a week you should see a nice little shed skin in there!

Yup sounds like she has 2 or 3 days before she shed.

I wouldn't bother with baths - as long as her humidity is good, there's no point in stressing her out.

The shed cycle can vary by a day or two, just all depends on the snake to be honest. Make sure you bump up the humidity. Once the eyes clear over it's generally within a week they shed, normally 3-4 days.

I agree with the no baths point. It's debatable but some people say baths before shed don't really help (and can make it worse)

Just keep the humidity up in the tank until she sheds.
