Is my male too large?

I am new to this lovely world of ball pythons, and I have fallen in love with these creatures. I have started my collection, and I have run into a question...
I have a spider male that is at a nice, healthy 620g which seems to be normal for a male.
I also just today picked up a normal male, (verified male by myself, and my father who is a vet) and he is easily triple the weight of my spider. He doesnt seem to be fat, he is just a huge snake!

My question is, is this size healthy for a snake?
He gets around fine, just kind of worries me, especially due to future breeding plans.

620 grams is normal for a juvenile/ sub adult ball python. 1500ish is normal for an adult male. Males wont normally grow as large as females, but that doesn't mean that they can't. I have a male that's 2200 grams. How old is your spider? People tend to feed their males less often then their females because big males make lazy breeders. But there is a difference between weight management and underfeeding. I would be very concerned about your 620gram male if he is an adult.

What ages are we talking about here? My adult males tend to weigh about 1200-1500 grams on average.

Your normal male sounds fine if he's in good body condition. I wouldn't worry about him at all.

There is no set "normal" size for BPs, females or males. They grow constantly throughout their entire lives.
Super large males are uncommon, but not unheard of.
Males can be sexually mature at 620g, yes. But 620g for a male sounds more of a juvi-sub adult in my opinion.

My adult breeding males average in the 1000-1500+g range and still growing.
Some people here have larger males that that.

Ok cool. I just got both of them over the past week. The huge normal is 4 years old from what i was told. No idea how old the spider is. They both look healthy, and both have eatten. The spider did a nice full shed a day after i got him. Most likely hes just a juvenile.
