At this point, its a bad shed. It will be hard for her to get it off on her own, even with a "humid hide" (thats what we call them). You will have to remove it for her.
I soak my animals in a plastic tub with an inch or two of slightly above room temperature water (approx. 80ºF). I also like to throw a few paper towels in there so they have something to rub up against. I leave them in there for 30 min - an hour (supervised) or until the shed skin comes off easily. Sometimes they will slither around and get it off themselves, but more often than not you will need to get in there and peel it off yourself.
As far as building a humid hide goes, you can just use a plastic tupperware container (with a lid) and cut a small entrance for the snake to crawl into. Fill the hide with some damp moss and Voila! Humid hide![]()
