Having a sheding problem

Back in February I bought 2 baby ball pythons from a reptile expo, the female I bought shed about three weeks after I got her. Since then neither of them have shed, the temp is right and the humditiy and both eat once a week does anyone have any suggestions on what more I can do? They both eat rat pups and the female will be 1 on 9/30 and the male on 11/18, I'm getting very worried about the lack of sheding.

I wouldn't be too concerned. Balls, and snakes in general, grow at different rates, even if you keep them in the exact same conditions and feed the exact same prey items. We got two hognose at the same time, one shed the week after we got her, the other didn't shed for almost 3 months. Just keep doing what you're doing, make sure husbandry is spot on and they'll shed eventually.

Also, are you sure you haven't missed a shed? Sometimes I'll barely recognize it when it's a teeny little ball covered in bedding.

I think they have grown a little but my husband doesn't think they have gotten much bigger. I haven't had ball pythons in a while and I will admit I didn't measure them when I got them but now they both measure about 17 inches

Can you get a weight on them? What's their setup like?

At a year old they should be eating something larger than a rat pup. Get a gram scale (you can get a digital scale at Wal-Mart for weighing food) and feed them a rat that is 10-15% of their body weight. If they're around 300 grams then they should be able to take a weaned rat easily.
