Underweight Ball Python
I would try an adult house for him this upcoming feeding, then try to transition over to rats. Try to get to eat two mice per feeding, then on the next feeding, do one mouse and a rat pup. It may take a few tries, but it'll work eventually. He's definitely not as bad as I was picturing, just needs some beefing up
I'd also try to keep your humidity higher, it looks like he may be going into a bad shed. If you're having issues maintaining humidity, you can put some damp moss or coco fiber under a hide and they'll usually chill in there come shedding time.

At his current weight he should be eating adult mice or rat pups. Are you feeding live or f/t?

Re: Underweight Ball Python
Ok so I have some more accurate information with his temps the hot side is right where it should be about 89 degrees and the cool side is a bit on the low side but acceptable at 78 measured using my very expensive multimeter. I just fed him a hopper on wed. also i'm feeding f/t. next week i'll see about giving him an adult mouse and if he takes it well, i'll attempt a transition over to rat pups. Thank you guys for all the information it's making me feel a lot better.

You can feed every five days until he's up to around 600 gr. Also, I found it useful when transitioning mine to thaw one mouse and one rat together so that the mouse would pick up some rat scent, and vice versa. Good luck!
